Main focus of this course is All about Rolling Contact Bearings: Easy way to select bearing(s) for different applications. This course is divided into four sections. First section of the course discusses about introduction to the bearings, it also describes different types of rolling contact bearings and their applications. Further selection of bearing based on different factors is also elaborated. In this course general guideline for the identification of bearings using bearing number is also presented with suitable examples. It helps the students to identify the bearing and its dynamic load capacities. In another section basic procedure for the Selection of Deep Groove Ball Bearing from Manufacturer’s Catalogue is explained. This module also discusses one of the case studies for the Deep Groove Ball Bearing selection from Manufacturer’s Catalogue.
